Pennsylvania Hospital is currently seeking a Magnet Program Coordinator. The Magnet Program Coordinator serves as leadership for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program® at Pennsylvania Hospital; work to coordinate, develop, disseminate, and enculturate the ANCC Magnet® Model Components. Provides direction for collection, evaluation, and dissemination of National Database for Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI) and other Magnet related data. As it relates to outcomes, facilitates project management. Supports and mentor's nurses in shared governance. Promotes the professional advancement of nursing excellence, while ensuring inter-professional collaboration to ensure the delivery of high quality clinical care. Serves to promote Relationship Based Care as professional practice model, and ensures the department of nursing works to support the organization's mission and vision.Accountabilities Include:¢ Leads Pennsylvania Hospital through Magnet redesignation q4 years, including document and site visit preparation¢ Serves as hospital liaison to the ANCC, including submission of annual demographic report¢ Magnet expert/advisor to nursing leadership team¢ Leads initiatives that support a Magnet culture¢ Collaborates with all Penn Medicine Magnet Program Directors¢ Provides direction for collection, evaluation, and dissemination of National Database for Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI) and other data¢ Evaluates Pennsylvania Hospital nursing outcomes and makes recommendations based on up to date Magnet standards¢ Develop action plans surrounding benchmarking and quality/safety nurse sensitive indicators as well as disseminating this information to nursing staff at all levels¢ Member of CEQI and Patient Safety Steering, makes recommendations on quality initiatives that align with Magnet standards¢ Drives development and execution of Nursing Strategic Plan, based on input from nurses at all levels of practice¢ Ensures mentoring and succession planning for clinical nurses at Pennsylvania Hospital¢ Ongoing coaching and mentoring of nurses at all levels in Shared Governance¢ Align Shared Governance work with measurable outcomes, and organizational priorities and goals¢ Mentors nurses at all levels through abstract submission and presentations¢ Provides education programs on Magnet Recognition to nurses and interdisciplinary colleagues at all levels

• Master's degree in Nursing required\n• 3+ years of experience in leading organizations to Magnet designation required\n• Pennsylvania Nursing license required
