The responsibilities of the Coordinator Nurse include, but are not limited to, coordination of all operational activities for clinical service lines. This includes collaboration with the OR Nurse Manager, Attending Surgeon staff, Central Processing Manager, Operating Room Materials Manager and vendors to develop and manage all aspects of patient care, utilization of departmental personnel, fiscal responsibility and material resources.
• Must have Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, at time of hire.\n• Must possess active Pennsylvania RN License, at time of hire.\n• Must possess active BLS/CPR, as a healthcare provider as per the American Heart Association at time of hire.\n• 5 years of OR nursing experience with a concentration in orthopedics preferred.\n• CNOR certification highly preferred.
