Performs nursing functions as required within the DOM/Hem Onc outpatient practice. Provides care for patients in all adult age groups from young adults to geriatrics, including assessment and management of the patients. Works closely with all members ofthe practice. Serves in a hospital liaison role for the clinic population. 1. Survivorship treatment summary: RN will need to complete the semi-populates summary contained in EPIC and work with PSR to schedule a visit for either the NP or RN to review the patient. 2. Oral Chemotherapy compliance and follow up: RN will be liaison to patient for compliance with oral chemotherapeutic agents. Assure that consent is signed, drug ordered and pre certed. Follow up call to review proper handling, side effect, teaching, etc. 3. TCM transitional care medicine provide RN phone call to recently discharged patient population and document process in EPIC. Work with PSR to schedule follow up visit with provider within 7-14 days from discharge. The RN is expected to promote organizational values of patient and visitor satisfaction by demonstrating courtesy and respect for patients and their families, visitors and other employees. Must demonstrate competence in the care of patients served.

Registered Nurse with active PA state licensure. BLS/CPR required. National or specialty based certification preferred. BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing with 15 months or more of relevant professional nursing experience required.
