This is a career opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to specialize in Anti-coagulation and Thrombosis management.The Anti-Coagulation Management Center (AMC) Nurse Practitioner is a member of an interdisciplinary team.The Anti-Coagulation Management Center (AMC) NP will provide outpatient evaluation, consultation, education and management to anti-coagulation and thrombosis patients. This includes: managing anticoagulants, providing guidance on type / duration of therapy, continuity and facilitating communication with all members of the patients care team.The successful candidate will have the following attributes:* Enthusiasm* Team-player* Strong focus on Quality Improvement * InnovationAll activities will be performed in collaboration with other team members / oversight from the physician medical director of the AMC.All CRNPs function under the guidelines as designed by the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center medical staff guidelinesand are credentialed through that body. The CRNP will be held accountable through a formal job description, delineation ofprivileges, and through their agreement with their collaborating physician and a Collaborative Practice Agreement. All clinicalwork hours and associated requirements will be defined and managed under the direction of the collaboratingphysician/division designee, and within the Human Resource guidelines.The Nurse Practitioner contributes to excellence in education, leadership, professional contribution and practice.

Master's Degree Master's Degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nursing \n\nNew to Practice and 2.5+ years of experience candidate considered\n\nPA and/or NJ RN licensure (RN)\n\nPA and/or NJ CRNP licensure (CRNP) CRNP\n\nPA and/or NJ Prescriptive Authority\n\nNational Board Certification\n\nBLS/CPR, as a healthcare provider as per the American Heart Association (For providers in the ambulatory setting)\n\nACLS (For providers in the acute care setting)\n\nThe CRNP must be reviewed by the Credentials\nCommittee and approved by the Medical\nBoard.
